The Coolnerds are very curious, thrive in smaller environments, and benefit from an education that sees them!
Our students have often stated that they "got in trouble" in both public schools and church for asking questions and seeking more than surface-level knowledge. In another environment, these students may "get in trouble"....at The Coolnerds, this is GOOD trouble and tends to mark future leaders.
We accept middle and high schoolers because we love the freedom needed to travel often, get invited to opportunities to work with businesses, obtain internships, work with tools, and more!

LIFE is EDUCATION! We use a wide range of educational materials, especially those that are God-centered, Afro-centric, and encourage knowledge of self. We also use a wide range of hands-on experiences, travel opportunities, guest speakers, workshops, online courses, farms, experiments, healing circles, family gatherings, etc. ALL are designed to educate the whole person, spirit, mind, and body.

YES! As a matter of fact, many of our students have gone on to become firemen, doctors, researchers, police officers, teachers, fashion designers, herbalists, engineers, IT specialists, business owners, and more! We help them navigate various post-high school scenarios, and most are living well with zero to little debt. Colleges and companies love homeschoolers because they are mature, flexible, and quick learners!

At this time, we do not offer financial aid. Many times, funding limits our ability to educate freely. Our monthly tuition is an investment that will yield a high return. Most students spend 2-3 years with us and use all of the connections that they will gain to build a solid foundation without limits!
