Birth and postpartum doula training that welcomes ages 15-100, rooted in the traditions of the Southern African American Grand Midwives. This program is designed to educate and empower individuals to become certified doulas, providing comprehensive support for mothers, fathers, and families throughout the birth and postpartum journey. Participants will learn time-honored practices, modern evidence-based care, and the importance of community, while honoring the legacy of Black midwifery. The training includes modules on prenatal care, labor support, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and family engagement, with a special focus on supporting fathers and nurturing babies from birth through graduation. Whether you are a young adult, a parent, or a community leader, this program offers a supportive environment to develop your skills, deepen your knowledge, and make a lasting impact on future generations.
